Make sure you follow the USPS rules or you might end up not being able to ship.

Mailed Without Equipment. The following additional restrictions apply to the mailing of secondary cells or batteries without equipment:
    1. The secondary lithium cells and batteries must be mailed in “the originally sealed packaging” and no more than three batteries.

    2. The sealed packages of batteries must be separated and cushioned to prevent short circuit, movement, or damage.

    3. The shipment must be contained in a strong enough sealed package to prevent crushing of the package or exposure of the contents during normal handling in the mail.

    4. The outside of the package must be marked on the address side “Package Contains Lithium-ion Batteries (no lithium metal).”

    Some suggestions
scrap laptop and cell batteries >> Has $15.00 shipping flat rate to anywhere in the USA >> Add $15.00 to the start price and offer FREE shipping
Better placement in searches and auto 5 star DSR for shipping cost

lot of 50 pc power cords >> Seen in a Priority box but offering flat rate shipping Parcel Select for $25.00 to anywhere in the USA >> Consider selling the amount that will fit in the Large Flat Rate box >> Add $15.00 to the start price and offer FREE shipping
Better placement in searches and auto 5 star DSR for shipping cost

custom htpc nmedia, windows7 >> You have Flat Rate shipping of $45.00 to anywhere in the USA >> Bottom of tha page you say >> shipping is high because I don't have it boxed up yet or a shipping quote . I will send a refund on shipping if winning buyer overpays <<
Consider Adding the $45.00 to the start price and offer FREE shipping
Better placement in searches and auto 5 star DSR for shipping cost
Nothing to refund to the Buyer because of "overpayment"

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (Sony Playstation 3, 2010) and black ops 2 ps3
You are charging $4.00 and looks like you are planning to ship Media Mail
These games are NOT allowed to be shipped Media mail
PLUS Media mail can be VERY slow
Add $5.00 to the start price and offer FREE shipping
Better placement in searches and auto 5 star DSR for shipping cost
Both those items can slip into an Priority mail Flat Rate Envelope (FRE) and ship for about $5.00 to anywhere in the USA including Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and the other Territories

NEED to work on your titles
eBay gives you 80 spaces for your title >> USE THEM ALL!!
    black ops 2 ps3 << Leaves 65 unused spaces
I would have used >> Call of Duty: Black Ops II 2 Sony Playstation 3 video game << and even that leaves 22 unused spaces
Reason for the II and 2 >> Some people search for 2 >> Others II
This way >> Both people find your auction

Sony PlayStation 3 Slim 120 GB Charcoal Black Console (NTSC - CECH-2001A) >> Has $12.00 shipping flat rate Priority to anywhere in the USA >> Add $12.00 to the start price and offer FREE shipping
Better placement in searches and auto 5 star DSR for shipping cost

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    Other auction note
You say >> No returns or exchanges
Be aware that the Buyer has 45 days to open a claim with PayPal or eBay and you will take a return and give a FULL refund
Item price + what they paid for the original shipping & handling

Every time I take a package to the post office, one of the questions I get asked is does this contain any chemicals, explosives or lithium ion batteries.

You sold 35 pounds for $30. We offer $2 per pound which would have been $70 and no ebay fees. A lot less work too.

As for shipping, batteries should all be taped. Then they should be shipped GROUND only. USPS ships air, so they should not be shipped that way.

So were you the High Bidder?
    $30 item + $15.00 shipping = $45.00
$70.00 you would have paid less $45 = extra $25.00 in your pocket

They dont care if you ship batteries, just as long as the batteries are NOT in the cell phones. You can keep laptop batteries inside the laptop. My postal guys been doing the job for over 20 years, and I tell them straight up each time what I am shipping, and never had no problems.

Ummm, lithium batteries can explode can should be packaged with caution. Tape all terminals, regardless.padded them up good.. and mark on box.. its for Your safety and others.. You could possibly be sue for any damages that may incur while shipping batteries.

so if You put those things in to place.. and mark the box Visablly.. then You're not obligated to any end results as you've informed them writtenly on BOX don't put it on the bottom put it next to the shipping label. in BIG BLACK RED PERM LETTERS.

Being a Truck driver, DOT Regulation also states that We can't carry any explosives, acid, or batteries without proper signage .. They have been known to catch fire.. the vibration, the shifting of the load, boxes on top of them creating preasure on the batteries and the shipper themselves.. maybe dropping the box.. and damaging the tiems and not knowing they were batteries.

    Just be careful...

never had to do that selling laptops as long as the battery is not separate now when I am selling batteries for scrap I have to tape them and show them to the window person and then the box is sealed it usually is a fast thing since they just move around a bit to make sure nothing else is there and to make sure they can see at least most are taped but I also ship a lot so they know me now and can do it quick but in either case its always good to inform them on everything
