Product is marked as used only because the packaging has been open. Processor is unused.
I think that's what the "New - other" category is for. I could be mistaken on that. At any rate, if people are searching for a new item, they're probably going to sort the search for new, and not see your listing.

Hmmm... I didn't even think of that. I worried about marking it as new, someone grabbing it, then complaining that the packaging was opened.

Should probably throw up a picture of it in it's package also.

Thanks for the heads up though!

They have a new other category as well. Put it in that instead of new or used.

i think those laptops are gonna go too low, we have a buyer in the buyers section what would give you a very nice price for those, and no ebay/paypal fees
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

Think so? As is noted, I have no clue what state these laptops are in and they're all missing hard drives and memory.

At the shop here, we have a good amount of dead IT equipment laying around that my boss was simply going to scrap. I just started putting some of that up on ebay, like old hard drives, and nobody bid on them till the last hour or so of the auction. Had a 3 lot of 80 gig used sata drives go for $31 plus $10 shipping. Was thinking we might only get a couple bucks for them. Another lot of 3 went for like $20. My guess is the bids very well could kick up in the last few minutes or so but as long as we're getting over scrap prices boss is happy.

I probably should have looked over in the buyers section here first. I have a decent sized lot of dead Lifebook 4215's and 4220's I was going to throw up on ebay. I'll check here for buyers first.

I have had good luck with selling laptops as "nonworking only on ebay". I sell them individually and price them to go quick with a buy it now. They are pretty much in the same condition as the one you have listed, no ram, hd or battery as well. My most recent was a HP with a Celereron M processor, so dont be shy with the older stuff. Good luck!

Yeah laptops "as is" are an easy sell on Ebay.....I test as much as possible and you get more usually depending on the info u give in the listing....I have gotten up to $100 for a laptop that I listed no memory, no hard drive, does not power up, and in poor condition....Granted it was a Mac Book but still 20 times better than scrap

You did good on the laptops! I've never sold on eBay but I'm starting to rethink my strategy...
