    rule of thumb with autos?

Is there a rule of thumb for buying a scrap car? I know you should look up the weight of the car and compare it with how much per pound at your local scrap yard, and that you should always take out the catalytic converter, but what else should you consider before you shell out your well earned scrap cash? How do you know the car you're going to buy is going to be worth it in the end?

this is my first time saying, but i see it all the time , the guys are going to tell you to intro yourself, but ill answer, i google curb weight if i dont know a general idea already, go with the lowest weight you see there will be several, leave yourself a little room to make profit on just the body, then your bonus is alum wheels radiator cat and battery, sometimes i take the starter and alternator, and of course scavenge the whole car you will find everything
