    Dinosaur Towers

Picked up 12 towers today and they look very old....can't wait to start tearing into them. To me it's like Christmas every time I start to open a tower ! Does it feel that way to ya'll ? I mean we all know exactly what we will encounter when we tear into a microwave....only variation is sometimes AL wire which always disappoints us, but unless someone has taken out things there are almost always nice little presents inside a tower. Thank you computerscrapper, easy, and e-wasted for introducing me to this exciting field, and for continuing to educate me at every turn. And thanks to others like PTS the postman who works 2 fulltime jobs and has shared his knowledge many times. And Mech688 and olddude who shared as they learned. Thanks to all of you. I have 22 in all...with printers and monitors and all kinds of old office equipment. Two truckloads and one trailor full. Wish me luck.
    Dee

I am just like you Dee. Ive been building my own computers for the past 20 years. I still like to crack them babies open now that im scrapping them. But I get the let down when I see its a gren fiber cpu in the machine instead of a ceramic. But then right when you think its going to be a crappy tower. You find a 100gb hard drive to sell on ebay for $15. Dont scrap all them old 5.25 drives. Sell them on ebay for 15 to 20 bucks all day long.

Good deal Dee! Sounds like you hit the jackpot.

I would think being older computers they will have more pm's compared to the newer ones.

The towers are money in the bank and the partridge would look real good on my grill,,,
