    College dorm move out days

Well college kids are moving out of the dorms this week but i dont see any dumpsters around thedorms, nor do i know where they are tossing the stuff out at...

do I need to go INSIDE the dorms to start pulling out treasure??

anyone have any idea how this works out? also I figure there will be a lot of move out trash within the surrounding neighborhood in the next week also, yeah?

You may not see anything until after the holidays when the custodians get in there to clean them out.

It's just Christmas break...most are coming back. When they leave for summer the trash piles start forming.

Find private apartment complexes near colleges.
I hit one once when working a plumbing job with my father and the dumpster was PACKED with electronics.Computers/tv's/stereos and just about everything else. We filled a full size van to the roof and there was still more left! I was in high school then and sold most of it to classmates as all of it was in near new conditon. Kids would move out and abandon everything and the landlord would just pitch it all into several huge dumpsters.

Went by the dorms for the local college. It's mostly a drive-to-school type place so they only have a small apartment type complex of dorms. The trash container was full and tons of bags all over the ground. Didn't see anything as a drove by or had time to stop. Did wonder if after xmas break when they all come back would be a good time to look. Figure they all may get new tvs and other toys and just toss the old out.
