    Low cost plastic bottle baler

The following site says that the baler will produce a 35-40 pound bale that measures 3'long x 2'wide x 1'deep

the plans where modified from this Burley (tobacco) baler

I wonder how it would work on cans.?.

Don't know if it would have enough pressure to compress the cans, but I've been looking for an old ringer washer and hook a drill motor to the ringers and run the cans thru the ringers and let them drop into a trashcan. You can change the thickness of the gap between the rollers.

    Machanic688,
It's been a while since I've seen one of those! I searched on google patents to see if I could find the workings of the wringers, but it was messing up with me so I will try later.

I have to wonder if the roller will catch the can and pull it through, or if the can will kinda "skate" on the rollers.

I can remember when I was a little kid my mom caught her shirt sleeve in one and before it got shut off she was up above her elbow thru the rollers, stayed black/blue for a week or more.
