If they have $8,000 on hand like that, I am going to go rob them! lol jk.

Very good deal indeed. I would imagine they gave you a check correct?

little cash but mostly check. My 2 main scrap yards as well as my escrap buyer use the same bank so i never have to wait for checks to "clear" and can withdraw immediately

That's always nice when your dealing with the same bank...turning checks green can be a pain in the a$$.

I've been wondering what the difference is between these two? I know what motherboard is but what is telecom? Thanks to anyone that can shed light on this.

Amen to that! but depending on the amount of the check, if you take it to the bank it was drawn off of, they will cash it, no problem. I do this all the time.

Yeah, I forgot that they do that. However, they bought out Wachovia bank, and Wachovia is the only dumb idiots, I ever knew to do that.

here is a couple photos of telecom boards. In general they have more ic chips than mother board grade. However, final decision is based on your buyers opinion which can vary from buyer to buyer.

what form of gold are you selling? We just made our first nugget last week while experimenting around. not sure if it is something we will continue to do, will depend on amount we can sucessfully recover. First nugget was 2 grams. we have just over 12 pounds of fingers in one stage of the process or another right now. When these are finished we should know if we will venture down this road farther or not.

Scrap I buy from auctions. I buy silver and gold when I can get a good deal at auctions.

    Awesome!!!

They are a 4 hour drive for me.

If i take my Toyota Matrix i should be able to make it their and back on $50-$60 of gas. That's a savings over shipping!

Just need to get a few more pounds to make the trip worth it. Only have about 60 pounds of boards.
