finally gettin some action from Craigs list

hired a woman and her son to haul scrap today, and got 2 calls for comp scrap one with a wheel barrow full of boardsm, qnd one with 7 puters 2 working, all at the right price or better

I predicted those who bought gold bearing stuff would soon find it is too much hastle to get the gold, both calls were from people who did just that.

Good job, olddude! Glad to hear your getting some calls. I've pretty much given up on Craigslist, no matter where I put the ads, they get flagged. Even had them flagged under the small business section. (sigh)

Other scrappers that are doing it most likely.

I do in in the General Community, Appliances for sale, computers for sale, electronics for sale, computer services, small business, labor and moving, and real estate services sections.

lol I didn't mean that I flag the ads...I was meaning that those are the areas that I post my ads in.

I do agree. Other scrappers post too, but I seem to always get the requests. Most people anymore rather deal with a company, then an individual just looking for scrap.

yes but I changed it up to be more Safety, and recycle friendly.hard drive distruction, every part recycled, no monitors ending up in some ones vacant lot or in a ditch ect. there are several other ads there. looking for "scrap" computers. I think "scrap is a buzz word to some.

If you have a remove for free ad put it under the labor and services forum. It should not get flagged there.

I've tried labor andservices too and it still gets flagged. I even use my business name and a professional looking ad that doesn't mention scrap. I list it as metal recycling. Actually the flagging isn't a bad thing, I just repost it and it stays on top...lol.

If you want, send me a copy of the ad...perhaps something about it might be causing the flagging..an idea anyways.
