We buy scrap copper wire!! Eastern PA

As requested in my welcome thread, here is my current price list for copper wire. I have also included what the local scrap yards here are paying for comparison. All prices are per pound of course.

Type Scrap Yard High Voltage Processing

    Romex, THHN: $1.57 $1.70

    Extention/Phone/Misc $1.30 $1.40

    Shiny Copper $3.50 $3.60

Again my number is 484-860-9454 and if you have over 100 pounds I will pick up for free.

    That's what I call Romex,
    Never mind, I'll WiKi it!
    Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon (THHN)
That tells me the difference between that and regular old Romex,,, thanks

Thank you for pointing that out. I have attached some images below. Basically, THHN is the wire that is inside the Romex outer shell coating. It is much easier for my machine to process so I will pay more for it then Romex. Also it will not have twine or paper coating thus making it easier to separate the copper from the plastic.
