$$$ E WASTE $$$ = Televisions , locations

So I took apart a dvd player the other day and I'm staring at two power boards and a few pieces of metal that don't stick to the magnet !!?? A few pins and a spindle I am - lost e waste is power boards no?? If not I asked one of the guys at my job if there is money in this area and he said "o hell yeah" ... That's all he said , if anybody could please lead me in a direction I would appreciate it , I've busted a few TV's in my time but i never looked for power boards i was just young dumb and looking for something to do...on that note is picking up TV's for e waste worth it
