Dismantling forum

Is it my imagination, or is the original purpose of the Dismantling forum being sidetracked? I thought it was to be for instructions on dismantling items, and if someone has a question then they can ask it in that string. I see several people have started strings asking questions about taking down a barn, dismantling a transmission, semi trailer, etc. I thought that was what the Scrap Metal Questions and Answers forum was for. It seems to me a string should start with how to dismantle (insert you appliance/item here), not a question on how to do something. Am I in left field on this?

Ehh. It is kind of ambiguous. "How to" can refer to a statement, "how i took the ___ apart" or "how do i take ___ apart" I do see where your coming from though.

I agree with you wayne. I hadn't thought about it until you said something though. It would have a much more uniform look if it was just "how to break down ______" like you said. I'd like to see it organized like that so someone could easily scroll down the pages to find what they are looking for. Good eye!

I agree it should be filled with how to vids and walkthrews. Not questions on how to do something.
