    Question on PC Memory

    Hi all,

Recently bought 60 sticks of PC memory off Ebay, only paid 99p plus £2 P&P , the majority have gold fingers and a few have silver colored fingers, should these just be grouped together when I come to sell them on or do they need to be separated ??

    Any help appreciated,

    Regards,

    Mike

That depends on who you sell them too. Some people pay diferent prices for them and some people pay the same.

That's so weird, because I was doing some computer teardowns last night, and came across some silver fingers too. Got on here to check it out...

I am buying both gold and silver memory at the same price of $12.00 (as long as the gold memory is around 90% gold and only 10% silver...or close to that.)

Thank you for the replies, I will keep em separate for the time being and then see what happens when I come to sell them.. I'm piling my e-waste up at the min as copper wire is my main metal area of choice at the min.

Why copper? copper is down...I will be stacking copper up and sending out as much e-waste as I can...gold is up.

I am building things at the minute, I am moving approx 100lbs of wire a week (I have access to lots more but am part time at the min due to contractual commitments) and as such this is pulling me money that is literally being banked to provide funds for premises and equipment (as per previous post regarding granulator for wire[eventually]). The e-waste is an area I will being going into and at the minute am storing up, processing about 10 PC's a week, the piling of the breakdown is allowing me to learn the trade correctly before making errors etc
