Finally a small vacation!

Well the wife and I have finally decided to take a small vacation.....So Monday morning we are heading out to hit up a small casino about 2 hours from our house.

Normally we go to the one that is in Anderson, Indiana but we never seem to win anything in that place. They advertise that they have the "Loosest Slots" in Indiana but as soon as I walk in those slot machines pucker up like a snare drum.

Any of our Indiana members had any luck at the Indiana Live Casino? I have heard some good things but also some bad.

We were going to head down to the boats on the Ohio border but they are quite a ways further away. We would rather not waste our entire vacation in the car if at all possible.

Anyone have any casino stories to share? My best win was $5000 on a quarter machine in the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN....That was back before the casinos started moving towards the lower value slots. I was down to my last $20 and decided to do a max bet spin once before I left and BANG! The machine went goofy and I was set. I cashed out and left in a big hurry before I had a chance to lose my new found wealth

Have fun I love to go to th casino. I usualy play cards though I dont like the slots. My favorite story is when I was about 22 years old and stationed at edwards AFB in california my parents came out to vegas and we met them thier. Being the broke airman i was my father gave me $100 bucks and said go have fun at the table. My father also being a poker player sat at another table. That night I was playing 7 card stud and got delt a 7 card straight flush. The casino gave me a ball cap for this. Long story short my dad went to bed about 2am and I stayed up playing because I was wininng. My mom dad and wife came down from the room at about 830 the next morning and I was still sitting at the table. I cashed out and we went to breakfast. I made $900 bucks and handed my dad back his $100 and baught us all breakfast.

In February went to Caesars in AC, I'm about 35 minutes from there. Me and the girlfriend went down like we usually do. It was a Friday night, they had a free blackjack tournament that you could win a $1000. So I lost the tourney. I had $300 sat at a blackjack table on a new shoe. I gave her a $100. Played a few hands lost my butt. I had $75 left she had $40, so we walked around and she told me to pick a table and I wanted to play one that she was nervous about because it was a fresh table. So we started playing, I kept winning she was up and down. I gave the girlfriend $350 throughout the time. That I kept track of because I wanted to know how much I really won. So after 3 hours of playing straight I couldn't sit/stand there anymore. So she colors up $180....So I colored up and he grabbed 2 orange chips ($1000 each and 3 black $100 and 3 Green $25) $2375 and with the $350 I gave her that comes out to $2725. I turned $75 into over $2700........needless to say a great night at the bar, a little shopping at the outlets. Came home with about $1300.

Well we broke even today....So much for getting rich LOL.....Had a good time and managed to walk away dead even....Next time I will not stop at Ryan's on the way home though...YUCK!!!!
