    Old boards and cpu, i think

    Anyone seen boards like these before? I took them off the old matrix printer i picked up. seem to have a bit of metal in them. Also looking for info on the ibm square, sorry for the blurry photo.

    Looks like thats an ibm 5314 CPU if i can read the fuzzy picture right. Here is what I found out about it.
    Description for IBM 5314
    Select 4-Way 262MHz RS64 II Processor Card, 8MB L2 Cache

    It is an IBM 9314, i tried lookin it up but had no luck. Even tried some of the cpu collector web sites. Thanks for trying though.

    It's a 386... circa 1987. Good gold content.

    Thanks guys, very helpful. This printer as at least 3 of these cpu that are removable and a removable intel chip circa 77 which i am researching.

    Most of those boards look like mid-grade green board that we buy. A few of them could pass as high grade due to the chip content and gold fingers/slots.
