    Smile Hey everybody.

Hi everyone, new guy here. I go by the name bigjoshl, I joined this forum recently after searching for some info on breaking down scrap metal. I've been recycling metal pretty much since I was 10 years old. I was recently approached by a distant family member to clean up a property with 40+ years of mechanic leftovers and all kinds of appliances and plumbing debris, so I've had to learn quick and this forum and it's info and dialogue has been invaluable. I haven't had this much fun reading a forum in years. Thank you everyone for this great place. Josh

Hi easyrecycle, to answer your question, no I didn't take photos , it didn't even occur to me. I think the mental image will be burned in for a long time though. I've hauled about 6 tons of shred in from this location so far, and probably 200(approx) pounds of non-ferrous . I've also been hoarding the brass and copper from breaking down motors and appliances,(no ac or fridge units).I have lots of work to do yet, I'll be profit sharing with the owner when we start hauling engine blocks , transmissions , and differentials, so far has just been the less valuable stuff.

Welcome bigjoshl, it saves a lot of time when you have to go to only one place to harvest so much metal...Great find!
