    Dirty Money

Hope I am not violating the TOS by posting this but I thought many of you on here would get a kick out of this. It’s a new show on Discovery called "Dirty Money" where three guys from New York dumpster dive and hit flea markets and such. Then they refinish or put a new spin on the items they find for a profit.

The link just has some clips of the show. Some of you might like it.

Just seen this for the first time last night. They put a chainsaw motor on a bicycle frame and sold it for 300 bucks. The thing went 20 MPH. LOL. I almost wanna try this just to have one.

Its not that hard actually. You can just fab up a mount (I have one of those old kid seat mounts for above the rear tire on mine) and run a friction drive. I thought if you dont want a bike you can pedal. you can easily make it chain driven. You may have to re gear as the saws run at about 9,000 rpm WOT. So basically you could be going 1mph at 8750 rpm and look like an ***. haha just a tip.

My kid has made a couple of those bikes, he uses a BMX peg (used for tricks etc.) on the motor pressed against the tire. He sold his for couple hundred each.
