Request for Prayer and Good Thoughts

I hope that I am not offending anyone by asking for prayer but our house could use it right now.



As some of you know my Dad, who works with me from time to time, is on dialysis. Well to make matters worse we found out today that he also has prostate cancer. The doctor said that he believes that this is a rather agressive instance of cancer considering the fact that his prostate numbers have more than doubled in 2 weeks.

we are still weighing options at this point, removal versus radiation etc....It was a tremendous blow to Dad considering we are in the final stages of transplanting my kidney to him and this news has taken all hope of a transplant off the table.

I wish the best for you, your dad, and your whole family and if my 2 cents are worth anything something that has always been positive for me is that YOU NEVER GIVE UP. Whatever the situation, problem, issue, or in this case is illness don't look to much at what you can't do, rather look at what you can do and do those things all the while doing what you do and looking for ways to do what you do better. That has worked for me when I was going through my own difficult moments. God bless.

Thank you all for the prayers....After a short discussion with the doctor today it has been decided that the best option will be total removal of the prostate. Because of Dad's kidney disease and his dialysis that the other options are not viable. So they plan to schedule the surgery for as soon as possible.

My dad had 4 seizures yesterday and is now in a coma. I know the pain of having a family member down and out. Trying to deal with it just like you are. Best of luck and good wishes to you and your Dad.
