    sun cpu's?????

anybody have any experience with sun cpu's for salvage purpose's i got a guy that has a bunch of them he wants me to buy but i am unsure of how to grade them to give him a price on the stuff some of them look like a slot 1 pentium 2 / 3 cpu cut in half which i assume would be valued as ram but what has me confused is the "regular" style cpu's some seem to be ceramic but do not have pins they appear like the LGA 775 cpu's but are bigger and have a al./steel top like p4's

yes i searched and did not see any conversations on these before

anyone w/ experience please help me-- thanks

Yes. Even tho they do not have gold pins I will pay around $30 a pound for the amount of gold in them. With them missing the pins they are not worth as much but they are still worth far more than some of the other cpu's.

Well I have to say that is definately a first time I've heard that used outside of medical description lol. What does that mean exactly in e-waste terms?

I bet he meant "missing", but was thinking about how cool it's going to be when he was done typing so he could pee.

You might want to contact a couple of our active buyers to get a today's price and not from 4 years ago.
