    Newish guy from NC

Hi all, my name is mike and go by miked here on the forum. I am a retired US Marine Gysgt and have kidney disease so I don't "work". I am currently doing a little scraping by breaking down electric motors and stripping wire. I get my wire and motors from a neighbor who does a lot of scrapping. I have been reading on this forum for many months but just recently joined. I enjoy learning from others successes and mistakes. Thank you all for the great information, Mike.

Welcome to the forum, glad you are here. Judging from your NPR comment on another thread, we are going to get along just fine.

Thanks to all for the welcome aboards.

As far as barking orders, its ok so long as I'm in the shop not in the house with the real boss.

To Mechanic688; I grew up near Columbia City, In. just down the road from you.

Ooooh Rahhhh to all the Jarheads, Mike
