    Jack Pot

My timing was good today. I drove up to "my" dumpsters and found 4 TV'S...two on the ground and 2 in the dumster. One had the back off, so I figured it had been stripped...but I looked...and it was all intact. Then I found a microwave, a 50ft extension chord, approx 10 lbs of Christmas lights with a 10ft green extension chord, 2 (oh shoot, I forgot what you call them...that thing that mixes and purees and all that...I'll remember in the middle of the night....I'll call ya'll !... kidding...but I know re-cycler will be up) 1 coffeemaker and a bunch of misc wires. Woohoo....my copper bucket is growing h-e-a-v-y !!!

yeah, food processor or blender.....are they the same. Oops, I just gave myself away....now everyone knows I don't cook. I can, and have, but I hate cooking and housecleaning. I really do know some people who love cleaning !

Our personal yard gives us .40 lb for them and we don't even have to pull the bulbs, or holders. Good job on the take, Dee. Polly Homemaker your not, huh??? LOL

Tude, I find Christmas lights at least once a month. People just get the urge to clean out the garage or the shed at any time. I DID find more during Dec and Jan, however. My yard takes them as is...around 50 cents lb. They take the prestrung fake trees also.

Just taking it easy around the holiday weekend, and still picked up a gas grill, 2 alum ball bats, small satellite dish, and bought 4 batteries.

Had to pack away a yard sale that mother nature helped wash out, and then spent the evening at dialysis. Whoopee!! Did take in a couple of buckets of wire on Thur. and got $149 out of it, that's just the beginning of the tv scrap.

Do you strip any wire ? Hey, you could strip wire while your having dialysis !! Sorry, bad joke. I can imagine that is not a pleasant experience and I hate it that you have to go through it.
