    Computer Cables

    Hey all,what do you guys normally do with computer cables? I believe they are called peripheral cables.They are the flat ones inside the computer.Lump them in with misc. wire or keep seperate or something else?

    Coax cable? They're kept and priced separately.

    Do you mean the flat ribbon cables? Those are IDE cables, and our yard gives us #2 ins. if we cut the ends off. Of course we sell the ends as well.

    Actually our yard is giving us #2 ins. for every wire that is smaller than the power supply wires. We are getting #1 ins. for power supply wires and bigger.

    You might have to trim the ends off, throw them in a bucket and save them as some are gold plated. That way the "yard" is seeing clean wire. maybe easier to get #2 price. Snodley uses a paper cutter from a school to slice off the ends nice and close, and it's sharper than *ell.
