You might keep it separate and ask if they have a price for coax cable. Mine is 0.12/lb.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Double check the cable first to make sure its not a higher grade. Mechanic and I strip the higher grade stuff...used in CB Antenna coax...I think rg-58. It will have copper braided shielding and copper core.

does anyone strip it? I found 50 feet maybe, its a copper center with alum braid. at least 20 feet has already been taken down to the alum braid.

Much/most of the cable tv cable is steel core(with a copper coating) and Al braid. The DirectTV coax has a solid copper core and for me worth stripping. As was stated before the cb/ham radio coax normally has a copper braid and solid copper core. Some coax has a solid copper core and Al braid. The only stuff I don't strip is the Steel core ones. (by core I am referring to the center conductor) Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

And the real fooler will be the steel can be copper coated. Might have to scrape it or use a magnet on it.
