Less than 10 cents a pound. Even at low grade, you're getting killed.

This is less than you should be getting for any kind of circuit board except *maybe* for heavy iron or blank boards. They're tryna take advantage

I have that problem in NewZealand too.
I'm getting quoted about 1/3 to 1/2 of American prices.

Their prices for CPU make it worth packing & sending it to America instead.

They have said they are open to discussion considering the distance I have to go 700kms, to get it there, and that it will be a good sized load of well prepared & sorted boards.
They want photos & a rough idea of weights.

The thing is, is that's it's probably going to be a 'one time sale'', unless their prices & my return make it worth me carrying on with scrapping escrap. If I can get it...

And that first sale of anything is the most likely time somebody's going to get ripped off. So I gotta be 100% sure of the details beforehand.

    Another possibility ....

Break the boards down for their value items like IC's,flatpacks, and smd's. You could probably reduce your shipping weight by a good 95%.

Not an ideal solution, but maybe the best option for someone living in a remote area ?
