    Todays dump find - Cork Clutch

    My first car a 47 Hudson used a cork clutch run in oil many of the older motorcycles also used cork.

    Never heard of a cork clutch. I wonder how long it would last.

    Cork is commonly used in motorcycles and scooters, the plates are run in oil.

    The factory stock automatic transmission in your car or truck uses paper clutch packs.
