So is this what it is all about?

I was eating lunch today in my vehicle and saw a guy toss a patio window screen, frame and all, into a dumpster. I thought, "That screen is surrounded by aluminum, should I go dig that out and get the metal?" Time was short and I let it go but I realized that is what this scrap metal thing is all about. Guy threw away a few bucks right there just by throwing good metal into the dumpster. Think I am catching a bug for this scrapping thing.

Sir Zip; You are gettin the bug! Think about all the metal you see tossed as waste.
If say you collected that scrap and saved it along with a years worth of said tossings you would be on your way to a mighty fine vacation at the end of the year!

That's what I tell people - doesn't take any effort, really, to just toss aside stuff you run across. Then maybe a little bit in your spare time. Like that screen - take the handle off and the glass out to double what you'd get for it the way it is. Before long, you'll be looking at a good sized pile of cash.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Easy to pass on a penny, but quarters, one's fives...can't resist.
