    Latest Tractor Project

The Kubota is a Grey market 4x4 diesel tractor that I installed an after market 3 point hitch onto, then modified this front mount snow blower to a rear mounted 3 point.

First of December and no snow to try it out on.

Nice job on fab'n the rear mounting. Is there an advantage to mounting the blower on the rear vs the front, or was this blower designed for a different tractor?

Blower is meant for a Kubota tractor equipped with a mid pto to operate equipment underneath or on the front, I could have made this to work as a front mount but would have used a lot of drive line and hanger bearings. A lot of unnecessary parts, the 3 point 3 pins and a pto shaft your hooked up ready for work.

Fortunately my PTO has three speeds had I not had 1000 rpm available this project would not have worked, also got lucky with my pto rotation going the right direction.

Good thing on the rotation, or else it would have been a snow sucker.
