Now you just need to modify a wood splitter. Then you need the other machine that pulls the copper out. Oh yeah, forgot about the tons of motors you need.

Bought a log splitter to split stators. The blade it comes with is too wide. I tried some other mods, then gave up. I have used it to pull windings that have 87 gallons of varnish on/in/around them.

Also use it to crack/break cast iron housings. I toss a tarp over it to slow any flying shrapnel.

Here you go...a similar machine that does both the splitting and the removal of the copper...

PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell

    scrapping elec motors

well....lol most yards in ontario are paying between 10-19 cents a lb for EM. there going to want to sell at a profit so say you can buy skids at 25 cents a lbs probly more its going to be hard to find profit umless you already own equipment to process them. they are selling to big recycling corporations with shredders and separator tables that can process thousands of lbs each run. i dont even know if a small hammer mill would take down motors. im only bringing small hammer mills because I've seen them fairly cheap couple grand. ...8 lb motor might have 2lbs of number 2. so couple bucks each it you can get your processing time down.

we use wood a spliter for taking tires off aluminum rims. works good
