    What kind of copper is this?

    I got 1000 feet of cable, What kind of copper is this? I am pretty sure it is Bright & Shiny, so the most expensive...amirite?

    It's 18 gauge wire. That makes it number 2 copper. It will yield about 10 lbs. of stripped copper. You would make more if you could sell it "as is" on Kijiji.
