Anyone know what this is? It came with the hydraulic ram contraption, but I don’t think it belongs with it. Fittings don’t match anyway.
It’s a hydraulic hose with a deadman valve, ok, so I know that much, but what really has me stumped is what the steel ring is? It has about 20 holes all the way around the ring. I can’t think of a hydraulic application that this would be used for? Is that ring used in hydraulics and it was modified?
By the way I bought that ram at auction thinking I would make it into a vise. Just need to find a power pack. Or I may end up using an I beam I have kicking around and go get Harbor Freight's air over hydraulic ram. Which in hindsight I should have done to begin with.
