    Reading heads, lens, eye thingy

Not sure of the identification name for these CD/DVD readers with a lens and mylar on them, hopefully my picture attachment will post. Are there any buyers for these? Cannot seem to find anyone in "buyers" section....but then again I don't know what they're called either. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, those are one of the mystery items. I have a 5 gallon bucket over half full of them and no buyer. I'm sure there's someone out there that buys them, but haven't found them yet.

One neat thing though are the two small but powerful neodymium magnets on either side of the floating laser coil.

As said by Pnut, they have the 2 neo magnets and the laser diode, which does have gold link wires in them (all laser diodes have 3 tiny gold bond wires linking them to the driver board). When I have enough of them, I will strip them all for the precious, precious inside.
