Shipping (FL-NY) or local pickup & hold

I'm looking for someone (or a referral to someone) going from FL to NY who has room to take on 4 old computers. If you or some other trustworthy person/company you know might be able to do that, please let me know!

I'm also looking to hire someone near Tampa who could get the machines for me (one location) and hang on to them until they can be shipped.

Thanks a lot! I know this is a long shot, but I figured it can't hurt to ask.

Thanks. I did speak with him, but the items would have to be palletized, which I unfortunately can't do.

    How big is the load?
4 computers as in each one is 24" X 24" X 8" (my current desk top) or old old as in 8 foot tall rack?

What town in Fl and what town in NY?

I will be in FL in 3 weeks driving back 95 to Boston Ma area so west NY would not work
Also I will be in a Ford escape, so 4 desk top size units I could do, Much bigger>> Not so much

Well, you've definitely got your timing right -- leave in winter, come back in summer! Wish I could figure out how to set up my life that way.

Thanks for the info. This batch of computers has to come up to NY before the weather turns nice, but if you'd be willing to carry something up for me when summer gets here, I'm sure I could find something! ;-)

I'm in the middle. An I like to drive/travel. If ever should the need a rise.

Just don't ask me to stay there long. I like to visit places, but I'd never want to live in them.

Sirscrapalot - Mini-Van an cooler also available for public appearances, inquire within.

You're very gallant, sir! Does this mean you're planning to change your handle from Sirscrapalot to Sir-shlep-alot?

Sirdrivesalot, sounds so much better. I really just like to drive an travel. So anything that lets me do that is good with me.

My cooler would be infamous not only on the internet but the CB world! Muhahaha

Time to move to stage 2...world domination.

URBANERECYCLING, you are my hero! Thank you a million times a million for helping me with the purchase and storage of some great old computers. I've decided to name my IBM PC "Tampa Greg" in honor of you. Remember, if there's ever anything I can do for you up here in NY, your wish is my command.
