Bought it a few months ago, traded it and now traded it back again. The guy I traded with started doing some body work to it. It was in a barn for 10 years. Used to be some type of police vehicle. Chevy G30 Beauville. This one is an 8 passenger, they also had one that was 15 passenger extended version.
350, 1 ton rearend. Has absolutely no brakes, brake lines are rotten but runs good otherwise. 197,000 kms is 123000 miles. I like this van and thinking of fixing it up.
You guys think it would be a good scrapping vehicle? Or what would be scrap value of this?

Pull all of the seats out and you could fit quiet a bit in there, more if you cut the roof off.

The biggest cat I've ever seen. Listings online don't seem to show this one, I am assuming it is a Large GM.

Cool deal man, wish I had my old one ton back. That one ton rear end can carry quite a load, long as you got traction, and the way to get traction with a van is to load that rascal down ; ) Thinkin I'd use a trailer for the scrap and use the van mostly for tools and ewaste.

I use a Ford E150 Van and love it. Use it to haul cars and have had 3 fridges, a washer and a dishwasher along with some other stuff, in it at one time.

Well so far only one scrapper interested offered 350, told him I'd have to keep the rims and tires. Another reply I got was a teacher wanting me to donate it to the shop class

After doing some more research on that cat. it seems that it is what they call Jumbo Bead. The only way to find out for sure is to cut it off and give it a little shimmy-shake.
