HVAC Boards

Are the boards inside residential units worth anything? If so what would they be called and how much? How about the larger commercial unit boards?

I have a friend who does heating and cooling who gives me his junk boards. Most of them are low grade, but I do see some mid grade boards from the higher end furnaces. The boards inside digital programmable thermostats are usually pretty nice.
