I started a new job today!

I started a new job today! I was working in the manufacturing field, lol, basically anything manufacturing, it is all the same regardless of what field it is. Anyway I am working for a local IT company repairing computers, yup you guess it I am also there computer recycler as well, well that's how I started out and I guess one day they asked for a resume and luckily I got certified years ago to repair computers and an associate's degree back in 2010. It has been a long time coming to, I guess I showed them by running my E-waste business that I am a self starter and I couldn't believe how excited they were to hire me. There are 10 people in the company including me, so it is kind of small.

It is actually kind of funny I got a call last week to go back to the Machinist company I was working at for a temp 4 week assignment, and knowing I had an interview that day for the Tech job I decided to go with the Tech job because it is a hire even though the machinist job paid more.

What is even worse is that I have to work out a different pick up schedule with the company I pick up copiers for because we are both working from 8-5, but that really isn't the worse part about this whole ordeal. I told the guy today that I found a job working for this Tech company in my town, and he says I have an upcoming position for you if you want it, we will train, you'll be on your own repairing copiers (in my town, his business is located over in the next town)

Long story short direct hire paying more, so I think I will pass until I get more experience working with customers and repairing electronics. Then I will make a decision, honestly it is just to weird to finally be wanted in a field I should have been in years ago. What a waste of time the sheet metal shop was and manufacturing was as well. Lol
