Gaylord of mixed Boards, How much to pay

Hello all, I am a new e-scrapper, been lurking here a while and doing some small deals, but now I have the opportunity to buy about 2 gaylords of mixed cards. Trouble is I am not quite sure how to pay for a group of mixed boards. From the picture below, what do you think is a good price to pay per lb for these bins?

Ok forgive me but I cannot figure out how to upload an image. Am I restricted from uploading because I have not posted enough? I looked at the FAQ but could not add an image. If anyone can help me please do because this thread is no good without the picture. thanks!

All different boards, mostly low grade but a decent about of others mixed in, You really just need to see the picture. I could email the picture to someone and they could upload it for me maybe?

I buy only what I can see. So if you are unable to sort through the boards, I would just assume that the only good boards are the ones that you see, and the rest are low grade (or rocks, who knows...).

Ya unless there is a weight or you can see things clearly estimate it all to be the lowest grade board you count the most of

Yea I do not want to assume there is more variety that there is, but I can clearly see several types of boards. How long do you have to be a member before you are allowed to post pictures!??

One post is all it takes. Your first test to be a scrapper is to figure out how to post a pic. Hint...you must use a Photo Hosting Site like Photobucket.

Looks like mostly low grade to me. If you are judging from just pics, I would just buy it as low grade because that is what 95% of the boards look like to me (Judging from the pic.) I see 1, maybe 2 motherboards. To me, that is not enough to justify bumping the price up.

I agree. If you have a place locally that buys low grade boards, offer half of what they pay. Not sure how much time you want to spend on this, but you can grab the inductors, transformers, IC's, aluminum, etc off and sell those separately. Not a big money maker though.

If it was by me 5 cents a pound, and i would drive it right to my buyer for 10 cents a pound. Lots of low grade and it looks like a few of the boards have been partially depopulated.

Yea I have a local buyer, and I think this could be a regular customer, maybe 2 or three bins a month.

If you can, try to buy the higher grade ones as low grade because they are mixed in. (in other words, don't touch them or pull them out if you can) When you sell the higher grade ones, they will be the icing on the cake after you sell the low grade.

Yea, Gravitar That is how I will be buying them, all mixed. I know what I can afford to pay if it was separated out, but I am kinda new to grading boards and trying to decide if the green boards are worth more. I think from this picture (assuming it is a true representation of all the material) It appears that about 75-80% are brown low grades and about 20% green.

There are a lot of green boards out there that are low grade.
