Red face What I learned today. Tell Everyone what you do!!!

I was going to lunch today, walking out of my building when I noticed a guy with a hard hat walking into the office building. A lot of things went through my mind, like, what is this guy working on and how can I get my hands on the scrap. Then I notice other guys with hard hats rolling out a cart full of stuff, circuit boards, cables, heavey metal with lead in it, and the like. I ask them what they are doing with that. They said NEXTEL was moving out of the building and we are taking this to a recycle plant in Miami. WHAT, WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS RIGHT IN MY BUILDING?????? Easy, I didn't tell anyone associated with my building. (a few months ago they remodeled the fitness center in the building and I got everything, Universal weight machine, 2 exercise bikes and a treadmill).
I have marketed myself all over where I work, other buildings, but didn't go around in my building. I'll be doing that this afternoon.
    I was drooling.
Atleast the guy who was taking the stuff out asked me for a business card, I gave him more than 1.
Even had one of the good looking Ladys, (with enhancements) try to sweet talk them into putting that stuff in my truck. She didn't offer enough

I worked on my company for a year and a half taking keyboards and printers off their hands before I eventually got a contract to destroy 140 hard drives on site for them. I tell everyone, and once in a while, I run into another scrapper just as enthusiastic as me
