I just talked to the sec/bookeeper at this company if what they say in their ad here is factual they will be a great new addition to the forum.

I was curious about the reactions of lack there of to me and other members of the forum. here is what I surmise from my phone conversation.

the scrap forum is a new approach for them and they may not have been prepared for the reaction from a forum 11,000+ strong and were caught off guard.

I left a phone # and will wait for a response hope it is quick and a good one for the benefit of us all.

The Internet is a wonderful tool JosephLeo it has much in common with telemarketers working from sweat rooms taking orders and credit card numbers for goods they'll never lay hands on.

In your case you have made claim to your company being a refiner which it is not according to a man I regard as an authority on refining precious metals, he actually owns a refinery. Say’s your Company is merely a Broker, this may work well for some members but is contradictory to what in in your opening claim in this thread and that of what your father indicated to me over the telephone.

My point being that if you fib once will you fib twice, from what I have learned I will not be doing business with your firm.

You see those of us that plan of having our catalytic converters toll refined expect to be at the refinery in person or have a representative present at the refinery to protect our interests.

Operating a few copper parting cells does not qualify you as a refiner.

m still waiting for a return phone call from this co. my value stock in this co is dropping by the hour, but am still hopeful. I don't care that they are not a refiner, I do care that they infered they were strike one, im still looking for a place to sell my rare metal.

Just a minor update, our eScrap program has been removed and dismantled. There is far too much competition in the market and we're sticking to our primary markets instead.

what about the scrap we havent found a buyer for yet, like the hard drive magnets?

I got a sample of these magnets from one of the members here on the forum and these are just something we currently can not do. If I were to actually process them I would have to melt them to get the magnetic material separated from the non-valuable metal and then dissect them in our refining equipment. So as of right now they're not at all valuable to us until we figure out the proper way to recycle these in an eco and energy friendly manner.

I think I sent them to you The magnetic material actualy comes off real easy with the wack of a chisel. Is there any value in the rest of the metal that is nickel plated?

Honestly, I didn't think of giving them a whack with a chisel and hammer. I had my guys bust a couple and it works like a charm.

I might reconsider our position on these magnets since they seem easy enough to process even in bulk lots of 1000s of pounds.

I'll keep you guys informed.
