I've found roaches in a TV before, but never clips

I've found wayyyyyy too many roaches in TVs, but this is the first time I've found roach clips.

Seriously though, these alligator clips were part of the audio jack. I didn't notice them until I was well into the tear down process, so I didn't see where they were actually hooked up to. I guess it allowed for some trial and error during wiring. Wouldn't want to commit to a defined circuit too early in the manufacturing process.

Those things are in everything here, I've already seen 2 air conditioners burned up from them.

My attic is full of them and so is the neighbors.

Haven't noticed stink bugs yet this year, but last summer in SC we had an epidemic.

Is this the one you're talking about?

Were the lady bugs actually elm beetles that look similar?
