Saved a 3-ton hoist's life

Yesterday I had one of my customers try to scrap a Coffing 3-ton hoist. Before he threw it in the scrap pile I asked him what was wrong with it, and he said nothing. The company he got it from gave it to him for free because they upgraded to a 5 ton. (Its a government subsidized company, so they spare no expense on the tax payers dime.) I told him he could get a lot more than scrap value for it, and then looked up some completed listing on ebay, and he was blown away.

He is not the technologically advanced type of dude, so I doubt he has the means to sell it online. I told him I would put out some feelers. If anyone is interested in this for super cheap and is in the Denver area let me know and Ill put you in touch with him.

Hully Cow! I'd be banging on your door if I was closer!! Even if it is 3 phase, my farm shop would look good on it!!

I'm sure someone will get it, just to flip it on eBay or Craigs.
