    #1 and #3 - I think they would go for $1.50-3/lb.
    #2 - 0.30-0.50/lb

It depends on who will be buying them from you.

Pop that chip out in no 3 and give us a pick of the bottom with a quarter next to it for a size comparison.

Does the chip seem to be plastic? or ceramic? Pop it out. Are there pins or lots of visible gold?

I agree with Mechanic. Unless the backside of # 1 has something special on it.

Are you planning on taking other things out of the scoreboard, or sending it as shred? If you are already planing on a fair amount of breakdown, then you might as well pull the boards, as most of the labor would have been down anyway.

Thanks Matt, yes we did the break down got every thing separated the computer boards are as you know time consuming lots of plastic and screws I am just trying to find out if the labor costs pulling the boards, shipping fees would justa fie the time and effort rather than shredding them. I myself won,t do the work so what would you do if you were me?

This post is about scrap, funny you should post in "more than scrap value" forum. Scrap is scrap, whether it's rusted tin or computer boards.
Just my opinion, but more than scrap means more than scrap, and is always my first thought pertaining to anything. There's an obvious separation point, such as rusted tin, it's obviously not very recyclable, and it goes quickly into the "scrap" pile.
As this post, as well as all replies till now, is about mere scrap, I think you have missed a grand opportunity to be doing more than merely scrapping. There was a previous thread pertaining to differing levels of scrapping, but none there seemed to fit into the realm of primarily recycling with more of an intent to see more in an items future than a place along side the rusted tin, and that thread got closed, sad. There was a time when we as a nation were stronger, a time when sayings such as "use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without" were a part of everyday life, and not just a fading memory. If it's all about more money, that's sad too. Oh well! Much as the thread, and too many other things, fading memories.
This was a professional arena scoreboard. Did you consider the number of schools, colleges, clubs, churches, local communities, etc., etc., that might have found it an enormous benefit, maybe even a dream come true? Even just a small part of it?
I certainly can't say I've never scrapped anything that couldn't have done very much better elsewhere, and it makes me no better, or much different, just sayin, missed opportunities such as these don't come along very often

Well bear I am glad you voiced your opinion,I am in the scrap metal business if I had to analyze every item we scrap to see who could use it for its sentimental value I would not be in business much longer,I have a business to run this is not a hobby for me or my eleven people that work for me,we all have our priorities all I want to know from the E-scrap guy,s does it make dollars and cents to do the work involved in it

I believe I addressed that, 56, and if that's what you wish your life to be all about, so be it, but the statements I made, and the questions I posed, had nothing to do with sentimentality ; )

I want to apologize Mr 56, I wasn't really trying to knock you personally, or to single you out, or your post, or your questions, although the drift of them has been in a general direction, and was merely a reminder of how the closed thread I referenced earlier had gone. Yours was simply kinda handy, and an open shot, which I wish I hadn't of taken. It's something that does seem to be more prevalent lately, but yours wasn't nearly like the ones clearly boasting of how good they were and how much they'd made doing it. Now maybe I'll make everybody mad (haha try that in a crowded bar room ; ) but maybe I'll make it out alive, if my luck's still that good, haha.
There was a study not long ago, about of all things obituaries. They studied the current ones, and the ones from a hundred years ago, looking for any noticeable changes. The ones from a hundred years ago were focused more on what a man had given, and his character, where the current ones were primarily about a man's monetary accumulation and possessions. Seems to me they all went out as necked as the day they were born, and if I got to chose which mine would be, I'd much rather it be good character, than a hefty bank roll.
Plus, you weren't the only one involved with the scroreboard, its reuse should have been(and quite possibly could have been, by some lone voice somewhere) considered and evaluated before they ever took it down. Could they have been too concerned about diggin on in to the Beyonce money? Who knows.
I hope you'll do well on it

First off, how many boards are in this score board? If there isn't many then it would not be worth the expense to pull them. second, do you have a local buyer? If not, it might be a good idea to try and find one. You should be able to find one in the Miami area some where. I am like you, in the scrap metal/e-scrap business and do not have time to find a buyer or list things on e-bay/craigslist. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.
