    $2 Drop!

Anyone else experience a decrease in metal prices today? My yard went from .10 a pound down to .08 a pound.

Gold started off REAL bad this morning but it came back up later in the day and closed in the green.

Prices will change some as the other metal markets did not recover today like gold had.

P.s gas will be cheaper. Crude oil price dropped down 0.97cents (selling for 91.22)

I got $195 ton for shred today...we always seem to be lower here in Denver then other places. Quotes from other yards in town were $190 and $175.

Your $15 higher than me for a ton. Right now, till it changes again, would be $180 for a ton.

Just looking at the copper market you might want to recheck that price. It took a beating today and yesterday night. It went from 3.7 to 3.3 then back to 3.5

Today was the first time I have been to that yard(ALL Recycling), I live up north so I go to Rocky Mountain in Commerce City usually, they are at $190 ton. AR seamed like a good yard, didn't have to wait at the scales but the payout line took about 10 min. You can see your weight at RM, so I do like that better.

Yeah the truck scales readouts are in the office. You can see them hanging on the walls when looking threw the payout windows. Looking at all my reciepts I havnt had an issue with mass differences in my empty weights. When you go to other side of all for your AL and copper and such you can see the weighs but you have to look carefully. They are on the work carts the workers are typing at. Sometimes you have to ask them to turn them in your direction. but ALL is totaly computerized so they cant fudge any of it anyway. Unless they put in the wrong tare weights but that hasnt happened ot me yet. I like the yard havnt got a flat there yet and the guys in the yard are real nice. Heck one day I took the neighbor kid with me to show him the big graplers and such the yard guy gave him a whole pack of oreos and a pop. Just seems like a very nice well run yard overall.

I very much recommend dealing with ALL, they treated me right on my cats and they will give you better customer service if you are a "dealer"/purchaser. Let them know your coming, make the call with someone in purchasing..price check everything. Yards treat you much better if you are loyal and communicative, and you get important info on upcoming trends in prices.Keep on scrappin!!
