computers I hope are still ok

I made a contact to day . He does clean outs and gets TVs & computers . I feel I paid to much but I took a chance
$10 bucks for 2 CRT's and One computer
The computer is a Packard bell that has no USB and says Intel inside It's a oldie
    I figure 486 . I need to open but been busy .

I should do OK , do you think ?

If it IS a 486 then that chip alone should pay more that the $10. Then you have ram, hard drive ect. If it came with a 5 1/4 floppy...try to boot the thing and see if it comes on. Ebay people pay pretty good money for those.

I wouldn't recommend buying crt anything. Unless its a deal breaker, where you have to take them with a load of computers, then use your judgement.

Alot of the older Computers other then IBM,DELL and HP were not considered tier one computers because they used cheaper boards and componets that contained board mounted CPU's, Eproms or the ceramic 486 chips that do not have the gold plate on it.

You did just fine with the purchase. You won't be losing any money.
