    Ballasts from lighting retrofit contractor

    Hello all,

Mick suggested I repost this item here for better visibility...

I am new to the forum and I need help with ballasts to include the non-PCB 4' florescent to the MH/HPS type. My friend owns a lighting retrofit company and has contracts both large and small across the US. I am needing the name of an individual or company who would be able to collect/scrap the items.
This could be lucritive for all involved. The major roadblock is that the jobs are nationwide and I am not able to go to each jobsite to scrap the material.

    Any info would be appreciated.

Nothing in the NW just yet. Still trying to get dates and locations together but the company is still negotiating the contract details on most of the contracts. I will post here or reply by PM which ever is easier for y'all.

Just as an FYI to all who are interested, the ballasts are t12 types from 4ft fixtures. Which mean that they are small and only 2.1 lbs each. Worked out a deal to pick up 500 to 1000 at a time to make the trip worth while. He said that he has a lot of retrofit contracts across the country. Like I said earlier if you rcvd a pm from this company give him a call. Very nice and willing to work with you.

They should as long as they say non-pcb somewhere on them. if they still don't then try another yard or break them open and scrap as cbm.

Oh that was it. There were no markings on them. Now I know what the no PCB sign means. Thanks for the tip.

Is there any markings at all? If there is then maybe run whatever you get through google and see if you can get any info on them or not.
