After they remove their finger, they hold it out & have you sniff it.

I think they had to do this because of some food safety laws..... I think there was a law that you can have toys inside intermingled with food as it is a choking hazard (like if you open the cracker jacks and just start chugging).....


I think that's also why cadbury eggs are illegal here and why there's no toys in cereal anymore. I got cracker jacks a couple years ago and it had a sticker in it.... wooo

There's no such law and a British made Cadbury's were banned for trade competition reasons bc Hershey's complained. Plenty googleable information on both
