    nothing new. we talked about this 3 years ago and sence. As times and the economy get worse things will get tougher. The more work the yard makes you do the less they have to do and those man hours turn into gross for them, it is simple business.

    There were simple rules most all yards followed. the 1% rule and the copper percentage rules and so on. Now every one needs to find a way to boost their bottom line if they are to survive.

    Among the first victims were sled lots (Car tote the note lots) and car scrappers, the price of old cars went from 5 or 600 dollars to 1800 and above, scrap cars went from free to 100 to 4 and 500.



    It has filtered down to every one including you and the yards.

    The bad news is, it is going to get worse, much worse. just my .02
