    Had to clear some space so I sold about 5000 lbs of steel yesterday in for 2 cents a pound. Could have made an 80 mile round trip for a whopping 1/2 cent a pound more.

    Nice find. Laminate top is pretty roached, but the drawers sell for 15-20. Stand sells for 20 or so. Machine off the table is a nice bookshelf item. The parts are worth more than the whole.

    I've been advised to drain hydraulic cylinders before scrapping them for the safety of downstream processors. Not sure if that is an old scrapping wives tale or not, but I do it anyway.
