I've seen the gasoline torch's on web videos they are fast but I don't have the stones to mix gas and fire.
Focker do you use propane and if you do is it enough of a saving to buy a $70 regulator?

While we are talking about small engines what do you do with the block once it's stripped? The cylinder liner is iron and the block is poured around it.( in most of the motors i've seen)

That's exactly the kind of stuff I've been hauling. The yard I go to pays 190 a ton on any vechicle up to a 2 ton truck. Anything 2 ton or bigger plus haybine's and combines and such are 165 a ton....

cletracs are very collectible I also think you should do some checking around it might make a bigger payday. I know the farther south you go they get a lot more scarce.
When I get time my preferred is Shiner Bock. But the older I get the more I think Hank Jr was right. Ice tea seems to go great with anything.
It's in the 70's here but I'm at work in a factory so big I can't see outside. The good news is I'm off the next 2 days, it's supposed to be sunny and my torch tanks are full so I hope to get a...
I use a site called oldride.com its always been pretty close for me. I don't have to remove tires or fluids just fuel and put a large hole in the tank. Not trying to argue just trying to help.
Thanks. I was thinking about the hay spear on my tractor but I hadn't tried it yet. I'll give it a try.
My yard requires a large hole in auto fuel tanks. This is easy with plastic ones I just use a cordless drill with a hole saw. I was curious if anyone had any great way of doing metal tanks? I...
That truck should have been around 3500# complete if it was a 2wd. I'd say 2400# is about correct with the items that were stripped they shed wieght fast. The 4wd older trucks are the ones that...
I just ordered a new winch from Sportsmans guide. Superwinch 8500 for $360.00. It is backordered until the end of the month but I can't wait to get it mounted and try it out!!!!!!
I'm pretty lucky in that respect we have at least 5 yards within 40 miles plus some individuals that buy copper and pay very well.
I get $185.00 a ton for cars. I seperate the battery $4.00. If it has aluminum wheels I break down the tires and get $10.00 for each wheel. I throw wheel weights and lead cable ends in a bucket for...
Went to look at the job. They have taken all of the equipment apart and I can load indoors. I offered him a 50% split since he is willing to let me use his fork trucks to load. He is supposed to get...
I'm going tomorrow to talk to a pallet factory plant manager. They are upgrading and tearing out all of their old lines. This will be a first for me I've only dealt with individuals before.
