No I leave the whole hoist assembly in the truck unless I need to lift a car. The weight and load of a car on the other end of the winch cable would move the cable wherever it wants, unless there was...
Yea I don't have the space to deal with it all.... Easy, thanks buddy! I don't think there's more than one or two computers in the whole lot.
I'm gonna go back down one day when I have time and...
LOL Sounds like most of my rides.... I like to mix it up a little!!! LOL Each of my vehicles is not stock yet a surprising amount is stock just not for that year or model LOL
Agreed. I can never remember which way it goes which grades are thicker and which are thinner oils LOL But I agree with what you're saying, on all of it. The old vehicles need premium more than newer...
Thanks for the replies guys, Mike (Mechanic688) called me today and we got some things sorted out to help me deal with it all. I appreciate everyone being so helpful on this forum!!
I've never heard of that exact formula. It's pretty much proven that most all engines run better and more efficiently with premium fuel. Depending on the engine, how old it is and the weather outside...
Nice D21!!!!! That's a lot of tractor, those are pretty popular among the sled pullers around here and an awesome machine for farming as well... simply outdated but the old timers still get a lot of...
Kinda what I was thinking LOL That or I do depending on what he'd pay.... I PM'd him earlier to call me, haven't heard from him yet... He and I are about 3 hrs away though...

42* is fine, without the rain... I was wearing a T shirt at 44* today while working... My wife thinks i'm nuts. Anyway, the yard would be a ghost town if not for all us peddlers... Yes they have...
You're getting reamed hard if that's all you'd get out of it!!! Gee I must have a really good hookup on batteries LOL
I understand what you're saying believe me I really do! But I have owned this thing since it was stock. It got the same fuel mileage then as it does now. The only difference is it ran horrible then...
Having a turned up diesel that will lay down 900-1100 lb ft of torque at the rear wheels is not necessary for pulling a trailer. This is my personal truck too and soiled up diesels is a hobby/side...
Yea the old Detroit 6.2 and 6.5's like you have need all the help they can get... The Bosch P7100 pump like mine has is pretty much the best you can get right out of the box, and has the most...

Nice... my garage is usually somewhat of a mess... The tools are always organized but it's all the freaking crap that's just all over like useless junk! I clean it out every week or two and I don't...
Amen! Believe me I know a lot of good mechanics and if I turn down a job I will refer them, but I'm pretty much the only person I'm comfortable with touching my stuff. There's nothing wrong with my...
Correct on the little hoist, It pins to the trailer in about 5 seconds and removes just as quick, I store it in the bed of the truck when not in use. And yes I use it to get catalytic converters or...
The lights are fine under the bumper, I never back into anything (bumper was bent when i got the truck), and I cant put them on the bed rail as the cap is on there.
And I know my way around...
You probably don't have 4.10 gears or a big turbo either. This thing makes loads of power just not the best on fuel. But 12 mpg for towing I can live with especially with this much power on tap :)
I run Numerous waste oil in warmer months, vegetable oil, motor oil, moderate amounts of transmission fluid, etc.
Forward- feel free to use any ideas and ask questions about anything!
Area67- I got the idea from a wrecker supply catalog I was looking through, some of the chains or harnesses they sell come in plastic pails to keep them organized so I immediately went to my plastic...
