Thanks I will get to work so I have more to post about.
I scored a coffee machine on kijiji today. It came apart easy and had some good stuff in it. A stainless tank, wires, 4 small motors and other stainless parts. I took pictures but can't figure out...
I paid $10 for a luggage scale, it goes up to 85 pounds. Cheap and I get a good idea of what I have.
Parts off a 98 V6 F150
Alternator 12 lbs
Battery 44 lbs
Aluminum intake 19 lbs
I work as a sheet metal worker. I create scrap in the shop mostly light gauge sheet metal. All my good stuff comes from curbco and friends. Keeps me busy and brings in some extra cash.
I just want to add you should wear a dust mask when grinding stainless. The sparks that come off are like little razor blades, and your body can't push them out like it can with regular steel.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Hi I am 35 I live in Toronto ON. I am a sheet metal worker, I work with 26ga. Prepainted a lot. I have been bringing the shop scrap to a yard for years, but now I want to try to make some extra money...
