Can only be a plus for the scrap side of the market
This weeks score or at least I hope so.
I see a lot of copper and stainless and what might become an awesome smoker when stripped. Actually bought two of these units ...
Going after these next week simply because I thought they were intriguing. Should they be functional it's a good payday
...
I was watching those servers and got side tracked. It's not always about the scrapping as the scrap items are usually over priced. If you buy at scrap value and the item has components that can be...
Yep my youngest laughed when I showed her what I bought. Turned the profits into a clean 06 impala for her, also from govdeals
So far most of the components have hit eBay, total component sales are over $2k Down to the scrapping which will likely yield 800-1000 pounds of clean stainless. The power supply has yielded 50...
I was thinking 18 foot trailer to haul. Nope not even close. All part of it as long as you start cheap
This is going to be an adventure. Already having to pay to get it moved. Several 1000 pounds of stainless and a lot of components that are eBay material.
Note to self. Ask about weight before buying. Estimated 17,000 pounds. Mostly stainless with a lot of high dollar valves. Should be an interesting tesr down once we figure out to unload it
I'll get it moved in the next couple weeks and decide it's fate. Will scrap it st my leisure once it gets to the back 40
Shall see how this turns out once I get it loaded or figured out how to load. Fingers crossed

I recently purchased an Epigress cvd reactor. What once was a million dollar piece of equipment is now a scrap candidate. It was made to separate and apply silicon to wafers. Unsure of the plan of...
$.10 per pound for motors in northeat ms. Hauled in 900 pounds of stainless today @ $.30 per pound. Disappointed best describes it
Good talkin to ya. Look forward to doing some dealing
I'll holler at you this eve, Richard
Guess I need to get started on the 50 microwaves sitting in the garage :)
Basically hauling in the shred @ 4.5 a pound for gas money. So it's a break even situation while I pile up the better stuff. Doing a lot more hustling these days and getting some decent loads for...
People who don't keep their word. Blech
Here's a new one. Was just boxing up some stuff and ran out of he normal packing materials, bags, styrofoam etc. when lo and behold I spotted my empty water bottles on the counter. Perfect fit and at...
Rough dimensions?

I'm about two hours northwest. Is this simply a pickup item? Meaning you just need someone to remove them from the site? Size and weight of load?
Local school district had surplus kitchen equipment auction. Scored 4 commercial dishwashers 750 pounds each for $30 each. The deals were slicers that went right to eBay. Lots and lots of stainless...
Picking up 40 late model microwaves tomorrow. Store returns all labeled non working. Actually paying a little bit for them. After reading another thread I was surprised to see what some of the parts...
